Things People Usually Ask
How long does a routine service take?
Most routine servicing and cleaning work is completed within 10–15 working days. Heritage overhauls involving complications or older calibers can take longer depending on parts availability and the extent of the work. We'll give you a realistic estimate after the assessment.
Do I need to bring the watch in person?
Walking in is always welcome — our workshop is at 96 Charoen Krung Road, Bang Rak. If you'd prefer to arrange a drop-off time first, a quick call or message works well. We don't take in work without a brief look at the piece first.
Will refinishing remove the original patina from my watch?
Not if you'd rather keep it. During the pre-work assessment we discuss exactly what you'd like preserved and what you'd like addressed. Many owners specifically ask us to leave the case as-is while only attending to the movement or crystal — and that's perfectly reasonable.
Are the listed prices fixed or do they change?
The prices shown are starting points for each service type. Unusual calibers, severely corroded components, or sourcing rare parts can affect the final figure. We always confirm the scope and cost before beginning — nothing proceeds without your agreement.
My watch is quite old and I'm not sure if parts exist — can you still help?
Older pieces are often the most interesting to work on. Where original parts aren't available, we discuss your options honestly — period-correct alternatives, handmade replacements, or a partial service that extends the life of what's still functional. We don't promise outcomes we can't deliver.
How do you keep my watch safe while it's with you?
Each piece is logged into our intake record with photographs taken on arrival. Watches are stored securely when not on the bench. You'll receive a receipt with the watch's description and agreed service scope. We're happy to answer questions about the watch's status at any point during the work period.
